- Originally from China, ginger is one of the oldest known medicinal plants. It is used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine. Ginger root is widely used as an aromatic tonic as well as for its ability to stimulate blood circulation. It also helps regulate hydration thanks to its polysaccharide and amino acid content.
- Originally from Asia, Ginkgo biloba is a tree known for its longevity and extraordinary resistance. The active ingredients responsible for the virtues of Ginkgo biloba - flavonoids and terpenoids - have circulatory tonic properties which give the skin a brighter complexion. Its antioxidant properties protect cells against free radicals. They also promote the formation of cells producing collagen fibers (fibroblasts), which provide support to the skin.
- Jeju Jori™ made from bamboo grass (Sasa Quelpaertensis), a plant endemic to Jeju Island in South Korea. Long used in traditional medicine and in the form of a drink, this plant is a rich source of phenolic antioxidants such as p-coumaric acid which give it its lightening and skin blemish-correcting properties.
