The unique composition of NUENCE treatments:
- Blackberryis a fruit rich in iron and antioxidant substances which limit skin aging. It also has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties. In traditional Chinese medicine, Sang Chen (white mulberry fruit) is used as a tonic (it nourishes Yin and tones the blood).
- Licorice root (Gan Cao) contains a high content of glycyrrhizic acid. This natural saponin gives licorice its sweet flavor and anti-inflammatory properties. In cosmetics, it is mainly used in the care of mature skin, particularly in cases of pigment spots. thanks to the action of glabridin, lightening and antioxidant. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is used to ""tonify"" Qi, ""vital energy"".
- Hyaluronic Acid is considered the most powerful moisturizing molecule known to date. It behaves like a small sponge capable of retaining almost a thousand times its weight in water (hygroscopic properties). Naturally present in the dermis alongside collagen and elastin, hyaluronic acid is therefore largely responsible for the skin's shine, hydration and plump appearance.
In addition to its ability to maintain the skin's hydration level, hyaluronic acid also helps fill the space between skin cells and act as a cement for the skin. It is thus able to protect it from external attacks and repair it in the event of damage (healing properties). It also activates the synthesis of collagen, responsible for skin tone, and inhibits the production of metalloproteinase enzymes, involved in the degradation of this same collagen.
