Zheng Gu Shui is a traditional liniment in China, well known among martial arts practitioners and athletes in general. It helps to relieve pain and eliminate Blood and Qi stasis and therefore helps to recover faster. It also has an analgesic effect, it promotes circulation, reduces bruising and swelling. Zheng Gu Shui also helps in bone reconstruction and accelerates healing. It is an ideal remedy for treating bruises, sprains, fractures, sports or accidental injuries and dislocations by relieving pain.
Now you can prepare your own Zheng GU Shui based on the ""DIY - Zheng Gu Shui"" preparation by macerating the content of the bag with alcohol, rice wine or good quality vegetal oil.


Ingredients:
A bag of 130g contains:
-SAN QI - Radix Pseudoginseng - 25% - 32,5g
-E ZHU - Rhizoma Curcumae Zedoariae - 18% - 23,4g
-BAI ZHI - Radix Angelica Dahurica - 13% - 16,9g
-CHUAN XIONG - Radix Ligustici- 13% - 16,9g
-DANG GUI GUAN - Radix Angelica sinensis- 13% - 16,9g
-HAI TONG PI - Cortex Erythrinae - 6% - 7,8g
-SANG ZHI (JIU ZHI) - Ramulus Mori (Alcool) - 6% - 7,8g
-BO HE - Herba Menthae - 3% - 3,9g
-HONG HUA - Flos Carthami- 3% - 3,9g


Actions:

Instructions to prepare the liniment:
1.The simplest way to extract the principle active of the herbs is to immerse the herbs in alcohol, but you can also use rice wine or quality vegetal oils, such as sesame oil or jojoba oil, for example.
2.Put the herbs in a glass jar and add 0,5l of vodka, rice wine or vegetal oil. Do not use a plastic container and check that the glass jar tap closes well.
3.Store thejar away from light and radiators.
4.Shake the jar as often as you can, preferably every day.
5.The time necessary for a good maceration is for about 6 months and can be even longer, up to a year, to get better results. The minimum time needed for herbal maceration is one month.
6.Once the maceration time has passed, strain the plants and store the macerated oil in a glass bottle.
7.Liniments made with alcohol extraction never expire.


Instructions how to use the Zheng Gu Shui liniment:
Alcohol based extraction : Wet gauze with Zheng Gu Shui liniment and apply to the affected area and leave for 1-2 hours or overnight. A bandage can be placed over the gauze to hold the gauze in place. Do not tight too much the bandage when applying it. The liniment can also be used in massage, tuina or acupressure treatments.
Vegetal oil based extraction :Use the macerated Zheng Gu Shui oil for the affected areas. It can also be used after physical activities and sports.


Precautions and contraindications:
-Use with caution with pregnant women.
-Do not use for children under 7 years old.
-Do not use if there are open wounds and avoid areas of irritated skin, mucous membranes, eyes and mouth. Stop using if there is inflammation, itching or redness on the skin.
Only for external use. Wash your hands well after each application. Close the bottle well after use and keep away from any flame or high temperatures and out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place
