Yunnan Bai Yao is a herbal blend that is made by the Yunnan Bai Yao Group, a state-owned company in China. It was originally developed as a herbal remedy to stop bleeding from gunshot wounds, since then it has been discovered to be effective in treating all kinds of pain.

Unlike many Chinese herbal formulas, this one does not come from ancient times; it was invented in 1902. It would have been used during the Second World War, and would have saved thousands of lives. It was also used by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War.

Use:

1 to 2 capsules 4 times a day:

• 1/4 of the dose for children aged 2 to 5 years,
• 1/2 the dose for children aged 6 to 12

In the form of capsules, the Yunnan Baiyao formula can treat internal bleeding, such as nosebleeds or blood in the urine and excessive menstrual bleeding.

 There is a small red pill in the center of the package, which should be stored carefully and used in the event of a large hemorrhage or severe trauma.

Yunnan Baiyao is mainly composed of San Qi, or notoginseng root (Panax notoginseng).

San Qi is used to treat internal and external bleeding, and it relieves the pain caused by what TCM calls ""blood stasis"":

The Yunnan Baiyao formula is also available in different formats:

• In capsules to treat internal bleeding, such as nosebleeds or blood in the urine and excessive menstrual bleeding ( Ref. E130) - Only accessible to professionals
• Powder ( Ref. E131)

 For best results, avoid consuming fish, beef, lamb, beans or beans, and cold or acidic food during treatment.

• Panax notoginseng radix 100mg (40%)
• Ajuga forrestii 42.5mg (17%)
• Dioscorea opposite rhizome 33.25mg (13%)
• Dioscorea nipponica rhizome 28.75mg (12%)

• Dioscorea parviflora 15mg (6%)
• Inula cappa 12.5mg (5%)

Precaution for use:

Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Do not take Yunnan Baiyao during pregnancy. In case of intolerance or if you are allergic to it, stop treatment immediately and consult a doctor.

If conditions do not improve or worsen after 3 days, stop taking it.

Not suitable for people with heart problems.
