Usage:
Japanese moxibustion should be used with great precision in terms of temperature and location. It differs from Chinese moxibustion in the quality of the artemisia used, but especially in the way the artemisia is applied to the skin.
This moxibustion practice is now recognized for its great efficacy and quick action in treating numerous disorders of the most diverse etiologies. It has the advantage of being easily integrated into structural or energetic tools.
Its best-known applications are the ""TONESUKYU"" or ""CHINETSUKYU"" technique, involving direct combustion and releasing very little smoke, using more or less large artemisia cones (rice grain) placed on the skin.
Its use allows heating the acupuncture points and directing the circulation of Qi within the meridians, to achieve better therapeutic results.
The use of Moxa is one of the oldest therapeutic forms in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The blocked vital energy can be released again by the action of the heat produced by the combustion of artemisia, above certain specific acupuncture points.

Contraindications:
