Gua Sha is a common technique in TCM that involves scraping the skin with a massage tool called a Gua Sha, to improve the circulation of Qi, Blood, and bodily fluids. Scraping also helps in cases of Biao attack, wind/cold, or wind/heat, to bring the pathogenic factors to the surface.
