Flour to tonify Kidneys and the Center
Finely ground dry herbs | HAR2 | Net Weight: 400g
This flour is a mixture of three herbs, ideal for use in a wide variety of recipes for breads, biscuits and pastries in general. By combining it with more traditional flours (wheat, oats,rye etc. ) we can prepare healthy delicates in the kitchen. From the point of view of Traditional Chinese Medicine this mixture tonifies the center, i.e the digestive organs and the Kidney. Above all, it helps to eliminate the loss of essence. It also helps to remove the dampness and dirt in the intestines.


Ingredients:
A bag of 400g contains:
-YI YI REN - Semen Coicis (Lachryma Jobi) - 166,725g
-CHI XIAO DOU - Azuki - Semen Phaseoli - 166,725g
-LIAN ZI - Semen Nelumbinis Nuciferrarae - 166,725g
Instruction of use:
Add 1 spoon to the porridge in the morning or take it with a glass of hot water. Mix the powder in hot water and drink it each morning. You can also use the flour in the recipes of cakes and others. Here´s a recipe for a basic cake:
Ingredients:
-3 eggs
-1 yogurt o kéfir to give a better texture and humidity
-1 cup of olive oil (the yogurt cup serves as a measure)
-2 cups of sugar
-1 cup basic flour
-1 cup of flour to tonify Kidneys and the center
-1 cup of almond flour
-16 gr of baking powder
-some white flour and butter to spread over the baking mold
-(Optional: you can add some lemon or orange zest or other flavor according to your taste.)
Preparation:
-Preheat the owen to 180 °C or 356 F °.
-Whisk the eggs well with the sugar.
-Add yogurt and the olive oil and keep whisking.
-Mix the yeast or baking soda with a little amount of flour and mix it together with the three flours and finally mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
-If you want to add any extra flavor, add it now.
-When the dough is homogeneous, pour it into a mold, which you have spread with a butter and sprinkled with flour so that it is easy to unmold later on.
-Bake 30-35 minutes at 180 °C or 356 F °, or until you can see that the tip of a knife come out clean when puncturing the center of the cake.
-Unmold the cake and let it cool.
